Touch Swachh 2015-2016
TouchSwachh emerged from a simple idea in the minds of three students of N.M. College of Commerce & Economics, to a heartfelt initiative in less than 6 months. TouchSwachh was the brainchild of Mr. Viyat Dilip Shah (21), Ms. Noor Fatema Shamji (21) and Ms. Komal Ranka (21), launched in college in the month of August, 2015. The trio initially participated in N.M. College’s Annual Business Plan Competition, ‘Intent’ with a fresh idea of developing ‘One Touch Clean-Up’, a mobile application for the citizens. Although they did not win the competition, TouchSwachh won the heart of one of the judges in the final round, Mr. Rajesh Joshi. Mr. Rajesh is an entrepreneur, investor, incubator & top professional with business experience. It was under the mentorship and investments by Rajesh that the IDEA was converted into the APP. The success of this APP could be judged that now many Municipalities in India and State Government have launched similar app.
